Love is patient and ohhh so gentle.....

Candice and Mark .......as I call them my "love birds" are planning a November wedding in Fort Lauderdale Beach with their closest friends and family.  Their engagement session was amazing and filled with lots of hugs, kisses and tons of cuddling!!!!!!!  Mark and Candice, both encompass brains and beauty as both of their careers require the utmost attention.  For certain, Mark couldn't keep his hands off his bride to be and it touched my heart to see his green eyes look deeply into his match! Candice.....so many wonderful things to say of her.....1st, we have the same name-awesome, she's a Nole and better yet, just an amazing woman to work with :+)  I have to say, "thank you" to Candice as she encouraged me to step "outside my editing box" which included a vintage feel to incorporate her taste!  Candice and Mark, I truly look forward to November when you both say, "I do" to each other ---the tears of happiness to come in the near future!!! Thank you both for a wonderful engagement session....xoxoxoxo

Rock Star Evan

Rock Star Evan, just only 9 weeks old and already making a name for himself :+) Evan has a special place in my heart as his Mother is one of my most dearest friends-I can remember running to the hospital room after Evan being born for 24 hours with tears of happiness running down my cheeks as I hugged the new mommy to be! Needless to say, I'm Evan's Auntie and blessed to be his life.  Evan's father plays the guitar which is where the storage case came in handy as an awesome prop!  Later in the session, I had Dad jump in some of the shots for those sweet moments with his little man. As any mother, I look forward to watching him grow and develop into his own personality.  Thank you sweet Evan for touching my heart :+)

Deb & Orlando's E-Session

Deb and Orlando, quite the spicy salsa couple they are!!! The couple are planning an intimate wedding in late February at the Delray Beach Gold Club.  We started our afternoon with lunch at a Greek restaurant in downtown City Place so I could meet the couple for the 1st time :+) Afterwards, we headed over to the beautiful Bethesda by the Sea to take advantage of the courtyard scenery and lots of laughs!!!  I would of liked to have spent the rest of of our evening there, but unfortunately there was an event so we had to hurry it up. Their engagement session didn't end there, so we headed back over to City Place to capture the city lights and downtown activity.  Deb and Orlando couldn't stop laughing the entire session as they enjoyed themselves as so did I.  Afterwards, we all needed a late night boost and ended our evening with Starbucks.....it doesn't get better than that!!!!  Thank you both for a fun and giggly e-session, lots of memories to remember! I look forward to seeing you in a few weeks for the BIG DAY!!!!!

Ashley and Matt's Skyline Wedding

I ended 2011 with an amazing skyline backdrop view of downtown Miami with Ashley and Matt's wedding.  Ashley, quite the "spunky" bride, wore the baddest heels I've ever seen covered with images of sharks in addition to her lucky penny! She had her dress custom made from Tova-weddingdressfantasy.com and there is even a youtube video of it! Ashley and Matt celebrated their marriage at the newly renovated restaurant in Key Biscayne at The Rusty Pelican that entailed their ceremony outside in addition to their reception indoors, both areas overlooking the city skyline.  About 99.9% of time, I usually shed a tear of happiness during the 1st dance, but this time, I was wiping a "waterfall" of tears as Ashley and her younger brother shared an emotional dance - quite the priceless moment for me! During the garter removal, Ashley had a little surprise up her sleeve for her anti-Patriots fan husband which was a Patriots garter - Matt's face was absolutely priceless when he saw what was in his hands. The remainder of the reception was filled with lots of love, dancing and a sweet candy bar for all to enjoy!  Congratulations to Ashley and Matt ; I wish you all the very best and thank you for allowing me to capture your wedding!!!

Michelle & Greg's Winter Wonderland Wedding

In early December, an early winter wonderland snow had made an appearance for Michelle and Greg's ceremony at Benvenuto's in Boynton Beach.  Snowflakes had fallen onto the aisle just as Michelle begun her walk towards her future husband.  Just before we left the hotel for the ceremony, Michelle was surprised to have received a saxophone along with a sweet note :+) In addition to surprises.....Michelle and her Father had put on a pre-rehearsed routine at the end of there Father/Daughter slow dance; yes....it was YouTube material and all of their guests couldn't stop smiling!  All of the decor was provided by Dream Makers from Boyton Beach and their team did an amazing job executing Michelle and Greg's Winter Wonderland themed wedding. As their 1st dance song of choice, they choose  "Somewhere beyond the Sea" by Frank Sinatra which best described the soulful couple. Thank you Michelle and Greg for providing me the opportunity to have been apart of your day! I wish you the very best as you start your new journey as husband and wife!!!!

Crystal & Miguel's November Wedding

The month of November has always been known for "a time of giving and a time to be thankful".....which is why Crystal and Miguel chose the weekend of Thanksgiving,  to give each other their love for one another. The couple celebrated their day with their 1 yr old daughter at their side as they were introduced as husband and wife at the reception.  Luckily for me, the ceremony had ended before the sun had set so I had the opportunity to capture the beautiful colors of the sky. The reception decor was designed by Crystal; the wishing well tree stood on top of the place card table with crystal garland twinkling throughout.  The entertainment and uplighting was provided by Dennis, owner of  Devine Entertainment whom did an amazing job with the monogram on the cake wall. Crystal and Miguel, my best wishes to you both! Thank you deeply for choosing me to capture your special day!!!

Anne & Rene's 11.11.11 Wedding

Anne and Rene's 11.11.11 love story unveiled on a private rooftop overlooking Ft Lauderdale beach with their 2 beautiful daughters at their sides as they anxiously have been waiting to say, "I do" for the past 21 years.  The ceremony couldn't have been any perfect without both Anne and Rene writing their own vows and well.....maybe Rene tearing up :+)  Anne had planned her dream wedding from Connecticut with the help of family residing in South Florida.  No detail had gone unnoticed; the sea urchin cake was amazing as the other tables were decorated with sweet treats and sea shells.  The estate rental home was absolutely lavish; 4 floors with an elevator, marble staircase, pool table room for the fellas and the list goes on.  Anne and Rene danced the night away with those  closest to them, which is exactly want they had envisioned.  Congratulations Anne and Rene!! I wish you nothing but the best as you begin your marriage together!!!!!!!!!!

The K Family Session

From February till October and 9 months later, Callie is officially 1 yrs old!!!! Callie is quite the curious 1 yr old and as sweet as ever with her sweet blue eyes :+)  The family session included Callie's 2 older sisters in addition to Mom and Dad of course with occasional visits from Ali+Gator (the family's 2 dogs).   Located in the backyard of the property is a horse shed where I've had my first opportunity to carry a 30lb "hay bale"......its def not as easy as it looks but quite the experience!  During this time, I had the chance to take some snaps of the older daughters while Callie was resting up for her 1 yr old birthday party the next day.  Thank you girls, Callie, Melody and Tye for a wonderful family session - I enjoyed the southern sweet tea and hospitality! I look forward to next year :+)

A blue dream to remember

Shaelyn and Wesley were married in late September at the Cocoa Beach Country Club. The ceremony was decorated with white roses, candlelight and blue silk sashes. The reception banquet room was a "blue dream to remember" as streams of blue lights lit the room from wall to wall. The blue uplighting was a surprise wedding gift from Wesley......and boy, was Shaelyn surprised as she entered the room for the first time! The music entertainment for the evening was provided by Sophisicated Gents. Two of the wedding party attendants had presented Shaelyn and Wesley with bicycles that were decorated in the lobby with baby formula bottles and Mountain Dew bottles -- very cute!!! To top the evening off, Shaelyn's father, Brad shared an emotional father/daughter dance that brought all of us to tears! Congratulations to Shaelyn and Wesley, thank you for allowing me to be apart of your special day!!!
