Welcome Baby Eli to the World!!! Congratulations to Tony and Katie on giving birth to your sweet preciousness.....Katie was referred to me from a past client and I'm sooo glad that they brought her my way! Currently, I've been hired to shoot "documentary style" and I'm totally digging it!!! I think I may have found my niche! Baby Eli's session was shot over the course of 2 separate days only due to being a newborn. The parents were so relaxed as "I took over as a parent" to photograph their little man. Eli was so expressional as he "cooed" and smiled throughout the session. Both Tony and Katie were so relaxed during their session as I didn't pose any time restrictions and more importantly, I wanted them to "focus" on being parents and being "in the moment". The time I spent with your family was unforgettable.....thank you for allowing me to document your lifestyle with your sweet little man, Eli.....xxxoo

Balloons of Fun!!!
Last week I had the pleasure to spend some time with the cutest brother and sister along with their family in Cocoa Beach. This particular family visits me once a year and I'm privileged enough to have watch them grow over the last 3 years! Sweet Avery and handsome Grant.....can I say "cuteness overload"????? I was having the best time playing around with these two sweeties -- even better that my child is around their ages, so I felt right at home. The whole family was involved in all of the fun including Grandparents and Mom! Lots of love, hugs, cuddles and kisses were shared ---- which I absolutely love the most about capturing family portraits. I look forward to see the family again next year and making new memories!!!

A "Pretty in Pink" September Wedding
I've had the summer off with my son and enjoyed the time recouping for wedding season 2012! Labor Day weekend, Lu Anne and Monroe said " We will" at the historic Porcher House in the presence of their closest friends and family. I have to say, I almost always cry at least once during the day of weddings, but I cried twice!! The couple decided they wanted the "First Look" before the ceremony; its always emotional and tear-jerking as the Bride approaches her Groom. I watched Lu Anne walk down the stairs with so much emotion as she slowly walked to Monroe; the second he took to turn around, time stopped-literally....and the tears started to trickle. As if that wasn't emotional enough, during the Procession Monroe escorted his Bride up the stairs while their guests were clapping and cheering them on as they walked together hand in hand; this would be the 2nd time I cried, lol. The Porcher house was decorated "Pretty in Pink" surrounded by uplighting, pink flowers, candy bar buffet and a beautifully decorated wedding cake with cupcakes that tasted soo yummy! A special thank you to Michelle for assisting me in photographing their wedding. Lu Anne and Monroe, thank you graciously for allowing me to capture your special day; I had a wonderful time meeting your friends and family :+)

A blue dream to remember
Shaelyn and Wesley were married in late September at the Cocoa Beach Country Club. The ceremony was decorated with white roses, candlelight and blue silk sashes. The reception banquet room was a "blue dream to remember" as streams of blue lights lit the room from wall to wall. The blue uplighting was a surprise wedding gift from Wesley......and boy, was Shaelyn surprised as she entered the room for the first time! The music entertainment for the evening was provided by Sophisicated Gents. Two of the wedding party attendants had presented Shaelyn and Wesley with bicycles that were decorated in the lobby with baby formula bottles and Mountain Dew bottles -- very cute!!! To top the evening off, Shaelyn's father, Brad shared an emotional father/daughter dance that brought all of us to tears! Congratulations to Shaelyn and Wesley, thank you for allowing me to be apart of your special day!!!

Jen & Matt's Summer Vow Renewal
After 5 years of marriage, Jen and Matt wanted to express to their love for each other by planning a vow renewal at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Cocoa Beach, FL in late July. The ceremony and reception decor was provided by KL Weddings & Events as Kristi, the owner provided a beautiful purple ambiance for all guests to enjoy throughout the evening. Jen and Matt served various flavors of cupcakes including Velvet and Carrot to name a few, in addition to having their own personal cake. The couple literally danced the night away with those most dearest to them. Congratulations on celebrating 5 years of marriage - wishing you many more years to come! Thank you Jen and Matt for having me be apart of your special day.

1950's inspired Engagement Session
Its not everyday that I get the opportunity to be apart of "themed" photoshoot, but when Jen and Matt tossed the idea around of a 1950's themed shoot - how could I refuse???? Jen and Matt's E-Session was taken over the course of 2 days, thanks to mother nature's lovebugs!! We had the opportunity to have some real 1950's fun by enjoying milkshakes and dancing to the tunes of the jukebox. As a note, the 1957 Chevy Bel Air is authentic with all of its original parts!! Jen and Matt are planning a late July wedding in Cocoa Beach and can't wait for their special day to arrive. Thank you both for a wonderful E-Session and I'll see you next month :+)

Cocoa Beach Pier Ceremony
The Williams & Kobe family traveled all the way from "The Windy City" to declare their love in the presence of their immediate family on the shores of the Cocoa Beach Pier in late March. Lisa and Bob planned a family vacation with each of their 2 sets of teenagers during Spring Break and spent their time between Orlando and Cocoa Beach. In addition to declaring their love for each other, Lisa & Bob decided to get "inked" prior to the ceremony with "3-24-11" to signify the date of the marriage. I wish you both a lifetime of bliss; thank you for allowing me to capture your special day.

Baby Mason's Newborn Session
Congratulations to the newest member of the Ross Family.....Mason, 6lbs of pure heaven with the sweetest blue eyes that could melt any mother's heart melt (especially mine)! Back in November, I had a maternity session with the mother-to-be Ashley as she welcomed me back into her home for Mason's newborn session. The little peanut was born in late January and was less than 2 weeks old when I held him in my hands. Rocking him in my arms gave me so many memories of my 2 yr old when he was first born....such a nostalgic feeling. Enjoy your little bundle of love; having a child is an indescribable feeling. Congratulations again....

Summer time is for lovers....
It was another hot summer day at the Cocoa Beach Pier in July while Coronas and Pina colodas were the preferred choice of beverage. I've had the opportunity to share a Sunday evening with Chrissy and Brian while they had a break away from the Fire Dept, Hospital and 3 kids!!! The couple has just shared their 5 yr wedding anniversary and wanted to treat themselves to a couple's portrait session. Needless to say.....the sun was competing for what was hotter: the heat or their romance??? There were soo many images that I couldn't bear to leave out, so this blog contains a bit more images than I would of liked, but who's counting, right??
Thank you for a wonderful portrait session!!
Congratulations to you both and wishing you many more years of happiness :+)

Summer Days with the Mize Family
I've had the pleasure of photographing the Craig/Mize Family at the Cocoa Beach Pier this past July. Their family portrait session was a continuation from May with the other side of the family that was visiting from out of town. This was my second opportunity working with Judy and Jim whom reside in Brevard County. Jim's daughter Lisa, along with her daughter, Sierra had traveled out of state for holiday and asked me if I would have the pleasure of photographing their family. Sierra, the brown eyed beauty loves to surf and a surfer near by let us borrow his surfboard for a few snapshots; in addition to her spunky personality, she loves to pose for the camera....and might I add....she did a phenomenal job! Thank you once again to the Craig & Mize family for a wonderful family portrait session :+)

Cocoa Beach Family Fun
I was joined by three generations as we shared a beautiful evening at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach, Florida on May 15th, 2010. The grandchildren and parents traveled from Texas to visit their parents who reside in Brevard County. The two little beauties, Avery and Grant have the sweetest eyes any parent couldn't resist smiling at; so much fun those two were!! And there is Grandpa Jim....him and I shared so many laughs and jokes that by the end of the session, my mouth hurt from smiling so much. Thank you all for a wonderful evening full of laughs and smiles! I look foward to seeing you all again soon :+)
