Alejandra and Ron's June wedding had taken place at the Kingdom Hall followed by their reception held at the Legacy Golf and Tennis Club in St. Lucie West. I'm not quite sure how to "not be partial" towards this couple as I write their blog. Ron, whom is a like an older brother to me and best friend to my husband for over 15 years to date; he's indeed a part of my family and will always have a special place in our lives. When Ron met Alejandra, it was clear as day why he fell in love with her! She possesses a gentleness along with her beauty and smile that compliments their relationship perfectly. Their wedding day was emotional as Alejandra and her Father shared tears of joy as he escorted his only daughter down the aisle and during their Father/Daughter dance--and yes, I cried :+) A special thank you to Team Beauti for an amazing job with makeup and Klasiq Music for providing awesome entertainment! Thank you Alejandra and Ron --- I wouldn't have missed your wedding for the world and I'm blessed to have been apart of sharing your story.

Lori & Tom's Jensen Beach Wedding
Lori and Tom traveled along with their children from Michigan to unite their family as one on the beaches of the Treasure Coast. It was a far better choice to leave the snow, boots, scarves and mittens at home to enjoy the South Florida weather. Lori, whom is a very dear friend of mine asked me to photograph her wedding just shortly after she was engaged and of course I could only say, "Yes"! It was such a delightful sight to see her so incredibly blissful and of course meet Tom :+) The ceremony was beautifully decorated with tropical flowers and shells. The family had invited me to lunch on the river to celebrate their marriage and oh so yummy cheesecake! Afterwards, the pictures continued on the golf course and concluded with a run down the river --- it was an amazing day! Lori and Tom, congratulations on your marriage and I wish you endless happiness in the years to come!

Ron + Alejandra's Sunset E-Session
How I miss South Florida's sunsets....especially when I get to go back home :+) Meet Ron and Alejandra whom are planning a June wedding this year and very much in love. Their engagement session was sentimental to me, as Ron is a very dear friend of my husband I. For their session, we took a ride on Ron's boat to the inlet and set dock at a secluded location, time was ticking quickly as we had about an hour before the sun was to set. The weather and sunset was absolutely beautiful and we were lucky enough to have a full moon. Thank you Ron and Alejandra for a beautiful engagement session; looking forward to your wedding in June as you both say, "I do".

Summer Nautical Fun
Just one day before Tropical Storm Issac made its appearance in South Florida, Danielle and James along with their family scheduled their annual portrait session; luckily, there was nothing but blue skies and tons of laughs!! I enjoy visiting my 1st home, it gives me a wonderful excuse to visit family, friends and of course work :+) I've known Danielle since childhood and had the great opportunity of meeting her husband and his adorable-yet silly kids. The family brought their dog, Chloe as I call "Sailor Moon"; she wore the cutest nautical doggie dress with an anchor on it! I loved all the details and props that were used for their nautical themed photo shoot - thanks Danielle for all of your creativity. I had a wonderful time spending the evening with your family-thank you for the opportunity and I always look forward to next year!

Crystal & Miguel's November Wedding
The month of November has always been known for "a time of giving and a time to be thankful".....which is why Crystal and Miguel chose the weekend of Thanksgiving, to give each other their love for one another. The couple celebrated their day with their 1 yr old daughter at their side as they were introduced as husband and wife at the reception. Luckily for me, the ceremony had ended before the sun had set so I had the opportunity to capture the beautiful colors of the sky. The reception decor was designed by Crystal; the wishing well tree stood on top of the place card table with crystal garland twinkling throughout. The entertainment and uplighting was provided by Dennis, owner of Devine Entertainment whom did an amazing job with the monogram on the cake wall. Crystal and Miguel, my best wishes to you both! Thank you deeply for choosing me to capture your special day!!!

Carl & Keesha's, "A red affair to remember" themed Wedding
In the beginning of July, Carl and Keesha tied the knot at the St. Lucie Botanical Gardens. The couple planned for an initmate ceremony and reception with their closest and most dearest friends and family. Both Carl and Keesha are childhood friends of mine, so when they asked me if I was interested in being their wedding photographer, the answer, without a doubt of course, would be "Yes"! The decor was red and white, making a bold statement from a bride who knows exactly what she wants. The dessert table offered various cakes and cupcakes of different flavors which the guests loved! During the reception, Carl and his oldest daughter whom I've know since she was a baby, shared an incredible emotional "father/daughter" dance that brought tears to all in attendance. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness as you begin your marriage together. Thank you both for allowing me to have been apart of your special day!!

Katy & Ryan's May Wedding
Katy and Ryan celebrated their wedding nuptials of the beautiful greens of the Stuart Yacht and Country Club in Stuart, Florida. After many months of planning from Indiana and France, the wedding couldn't be any more spectacular than they had planned for. Katy, a local native to South Florida, whom I'm proud to have known since childhood, had waited patiently for her "dream day" to become "real". Ryan, a native of Indiana and working abroad in France, was immediately astounded by the beauty of his bride as she walked down the aisle. The couple chose "Walking in Memphis" as their first dance - their bliss was an amazing experience to watch as Ryan twirled her on the dance floor. To top off the evening, Katy's older brother whom is on active duty with the Military and was not able to attend the festivities, had a pre-recorded his toast that was played during the reception - absolutely speechless for all! Thank you both for an incredible wedding! I wish you many years of happiness as you start your journey as husband and wife! My very best.....XOXOXO
