Katie and John's Engagement Session

Katie and John are getting hitched this weekend in Melbourne Beach!!!!!!!!!!!! I met this couple a few years ago at another wedding I had photographed. They are such a sweet, loving, Southern and down to Earth kind of couple. Their love is infectious as they laughed and smiled away without me telling them to do so! Their shoot was taken in Melbourne Beach as the sun was setting away with pink and orange hues in the sky. I had backup to say the least; the bride's future sister in law was in attendance which was a great help as she assisted me with lighting equipment. Katie.....such a sweet and gentle soul and John...such a Southern gentlemen......there is no doubt they're a perfect match for each other! I look forward to documenting your wedding this weekend! Matt and Jessica's Beachside Wedding

Matt and Jessica planned their destination wedding on the east coast and traveled all the way from Las Vegas to share their special day with friends and family. Mother Nature had decided to grace us with her rain just before the ceremony and thank goodness only lasted a few minutes.  Matt and his groomsmen all wore superhero shirts underneath their suits -- quite the kids at heart! Jessica, what a gorgeous bride in her vintage lace gown with matching starfish hairpins to match their beach side theme; thank you to Essentials Spa for doing a wonderful job with the hair and makeup.  The reception entertainment and uplighting décor was provided by "DJ Shane Entertainment"; as always, he has the party rocking all night long. As the evening progressed, I was able to sneak Matt and Jessica away from their guests and take advantage of the contemporary décor the Crowne Plaza had to offer in the lobby area. I would like to thank my assistant, Matt for all of his hard work! Matt and Jessica, congratulations on your marriage and I wish you all the happiness in the world! Balloons of Fun!!!

Last week I had the pleasure to spend some time with the cutest brother and sister along with their family in Cocoa Beach.  This particular family visits me once a year and I'm privileged enough to have watch them grow over the last 3 years!  Sweet Avery and handsome Grant.....can I say "cuteness overload"?????  I was having the best time playing around with these two sweeties -- even better that my child is around their ages, so I felt right at home. The whole family was involved in all of the fun including Grandparents and Mom! Lots of love, hugs, cuddles and kisses were shared ---- which I absolutely love the most about capturing family portraits. I look forward to see the family again next year and making new memories!!!

Shelley + Nick's Radisson Oceanfront Hotel Wedding

Shelley and Nick have said "I do" to each other in the presence of their family and closest friends at the Radisson Oceantfront Hotel. Their morning wedding overlooked the Atlantic Ocean; the sky was a beautiful deep blue as there were no clouds in the sky. Both Shelley and Nick had written their own vows to each other as they promised to love one another for all eternity.  At the end of the ceremony, Nick bent down to give his sweet baby boy to be a kiss :+) After the ceremony, we took a stroll on the beach for their formal pictures along with the wedding party. Shelley decided to surprise Nick with a custom UF Gator chopping on a FSU Seminole shirt cake -- it was delish!!   The reception had a photo booth which was a favorite amongst many! Congratulations to Shelley and Nick, I'm looking forward to watching your family grow as your baby boy will be arriving in just a few months! The "L" Family Fall Portraits

One thing I love most about the Fall season is the colors and the change of weather! The "L" Family scheduled there 2nd annual family portraits at Ryckman Park in Melbourne Beach. It's been almost a year since I've since Ava and wow, what an independent personality she has!!! She definitely runs the show at home and has Daddy wrapped around her itty bitty finger :+) Chase, such a handsome young man he is developing into who is all about sports with a million dollar smile! Of course, the parents...what can I say?? They are busy chasing Ava around, lol! Spending the evening with the family was quite a treat and required running shoes as I was chasing Ava everywhere. Thank you all for a lovely portrait session and I always look forward to next year!

 

 

Chrissy & Andy's Wedding

I was more than thrilled to have been apart of the 10.10.10 wedding craze, which was one of the most popular wedding dates of 2010!!! Chrissy and Andy declared their nuptials at the Community Church of Melbourne, which I must say is extremely quaint given the simplicity of the white traditional "A" frame architect and classic wooden interior. I met Chrissy at her hotel where she was getting "primped and pampered" for pre ceremony shots followed by the ceremony commencing. Unfortunately, Chrissy wasn't the only princess in attendance...their brown eyed daughter, Shelby watched Mommy and Daddy at the alter with such curiosity and happiness. Congratulations to Chrissy and Andy! Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your special day.

A gift for her man.....

May 18, 2010 @ 6:00 AM I was awake and on the road to Melbourne Beach for a 2 series photoshoot with a very dear friend of mine. She wanted to present a gift to her boyfriend that would be traveling afar....what better gift to send your man :+) Yes, the water was cold as both of us survived! After about an hour of shooting, it was time for a pit stop to the local Star Bucks to give us a boost for part 2 of the shoot. A rental room at nearby B&B was used as a backdrop with lovely furniture. About 2 weeks later, her boyfriend receieved his departing gift and she definately left an impression that would last until they meet again. Thank you J!!
