Brad & Danielle's Engagement Session

Meet Brad and Danielle....my last photo shoot of 2010 and well worth the wait!!

The two lovebirds met a few years back while attending college at PBA in Palm Beach; Danielle, more than just beauty but also brains as she graduated with a Doctorate’s degree in Pharmacology and Brad with a Degree in Business. Brad romantically asked for Danielle’s hand in marriage on the island of Bahamas of this year and are planning a February 2011 wedding. Their engagement session consisted of 3 locations, beginning at a Minor League Baseball Stadium (as Brad grew up playing sports) and ending the evening on the beaches of Palm Beach while the sun set across the horizon. Brad and Danielle….both extremely passionate, exhibited romance throughout the day and were sooo much fun to work with!! I’m looking forward to shooting my first wedding of 2011 in Palm Beach as this will be my 1st wedding in South Florida!

Baby Gianna

Please welcome Baby Gianna Alyse, born 11.03.2010 @ 7lbs,50z; proud parents to Jen & Kesone! The new parents had welcomed me back to Palm Beach since last visiting them in August for their maternity session.  At 1 month old, Gianna has her Mother's lips and Father's taste for Hip Hop music as we jammed out during her photo session; they both agree that having a child is like "a love like no other".  Like most newborns, Gianna was awake for about 1 hour so I was able to take photos of her sweet brown eyes.  As she gently fell asleep in her Mother's arms, I had the opportunity to snap away! Afterwards, I took a few pics of the nursery.....the decor is very modern and chic with bright colors of purple, 2 shades of pink and gray with white butterflies attached to the wall; without a doubt, Gianna will never have to worry about not being a "trendsetter" especially with her Mother's impeccable taste in fashion. Congratulations to Jen & Kesone on your greatest love!!!

The Scaglione Wedding

Tara and Michael said "I do" in the presence of their family and closest friends at the Tides Club in Satellite Beach on October 16th, 2010. Coldplay was the tune of the day as they were introduced as husband and wife and loved every second of it (as I did too).  Tara and Michael had left no detail untouched when planning the decor of the reception venue with the assistance of KL Weddings & Events; the color scheme of blue and green provided an amazing ambiance throughout the reception venue including the coordinating candy bar. I'm am beyond thrilled to have been apart of the greatest chapter in their lives so far! I wish you both many years of bliss and congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Michael Scaglione!!!!!

Ashley & Rick's Maternity Session

Ashley and Rick will be expecting their first child of early February 2011....and boy, oh boy....is Daddy more than excited to have his own football player!!! Ashley just entered her 7 month and without a doubt, was eye candy to my lens. They both wanted the "Chicago Bears" attire and how cute are they tossing the football back and forth??? So....whats with the ice cream and maternity book??? Well....as new moms to be....we take advantage of the midnight cravings whether its staring at the refrigerator door to indulging chocolate ice cream or reading maternity books whether it scares us or not, especially the epidural chapter! Thank you Ashley for giving in to my wacky ideas....I had a blast : +) Congratulations to you both on the upcoming arrival of your first child; he will melt your hearts!

The Lorenzatto Family

The Lorenzatto Family has yet graced me with opportunity to capture their annual family portraits......and my, my, my....has sweet Ava Grace blessed me with her captivating smile and "princess charm". The beginning of November in my lovely hometown of St Lucie had their first cold front....and yes, for us native South Floridians, 65 degrees is chilly but lovely enough for a Fall family photoshoot. Sweet Ava is now 3 yrs old and has grown so much from last fall 2009; an amazing and affectionate child she is!! My heart was gently touched as she held my hand throughout the park in addition to watching her tumble, skip and dance merrily! While Ava was being "Sweet Ava", I had a quick moment to take a few snaps of Mommy & Daddy....and WOW is all I can say! Kim, a long time friend  (I think she may have seen me running around in diapers as a toddler) def gave me a show with her stunning green eyes and long eyelashes as she posed effortlessly while she and Chris were in their "moment".  Thank you Lorenzatto Family for an amazing evening of fun, laughter and passion :+) Looking forward to next year as I can't wait to see what Ava has in store for me!!

Chrissy & Andy's Wedding

I was more than thrilled to have been apart of the 10.10.10 wedding craze, which was one of the most popular wedding dates of 2010!!! Chrissy and Andy declared their nuptials at the Community Church of Melbourne, which I must say is extremely quaint given the simplicity of the white traditional "A" frame architect and classic wooden interior. I met Chrissy at her hotel where she was getting "primped and pampered" for pre ceremony shots followed by the ceremony commencing. Unfortunately, Chrissy wasn't the only princess in attendance...their brown eyed daughter, Shelby watched Mommy and Daddy at the alter with such curiosity and happiness. Congratulations to Chrissy and Andy! Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your special day.

Brown eyed Laurel

During the month of October, I had the opportunity to attend my high school reunion in South Florida.  A classmate of mine whom traveled from Oregon to attend the reunion had ask me if I was interested in booking a session for her 4 month old daughter, Laurel; how could I decline her request???? Laurel, an amazing brown eyed beauty was quite the star of the morning as she gazed at me with her long eyelashes. During the shoot, Laurel needed her beauty rest which she gladly and willingly fell asleep in her mother's arm.....what a picture perfect opportunity to snap "Mommy & Me" photos. I was extremely grateful that I had the opportunity to capture the bond between a mother and child. Thank you Deanna & Laurel for an unforgettable photo shoot. Enjoy your love.....

Busy, busy, busy

Its been awhile since I've posted blogs......yes, I am back to blogging!!!  During the months of October through now, I had to bid my husband farewell for the next few months and being a stay at home mother to a 2 yr has my hands full needless to say. Thank you all for being patient....I have a ton of work to display so stay tuned! Oh...and I've also added slideshows in addition to posting images...enjoy the show!

Welcome Avery Lynn....

Avery Lynn has finally arrived......and yes, she is ready to take on the world!!! Miss Avery was born on 8.22.10 at 6lbs, 8oz., 19 inches to proud parents Dylan & Elena and big sister Audrey.  Sweet baby Avery looks just like Audrey when she was born...if not almost identical.  I had the opportunity to hold and sing to her as she looked up into my eyes and how precious it was!
Congrats to Elena, Dylan & Audrey on the newest member of your family!!!

A special thank you to my lovely sister who spent the time knitting some of these baby props.

Elena's soon to be special arrival

The beginning of August has much in store for me as this is the 1st of 2 maternity photo sessions I will be apart of! Elena, a very close and dear friend of mine had her maternity shoot scheduled at 36 weeks -- all I can say is WOW!! I wish I looked this great at 36 weeks :+) She is expecting her 2nd daughter at the end of August with much anticipation. As you can tell, Elena was extrememly comfortable with the camera and posed effortlessly as her belly moved from side to side :+) Elena's husband and daughter also participated in the festivities -- as they are both eager to meet baby girl #2. Thank you B. family for allowing me to be apart of this journey with you.

Summer time is for lovers....

It was another hot summer day at the Cocoa Beach Pier in July while Coronas and Pina colodas were the preferred choice of beverage. I've had the opportunity to share a Sunday evening with Chrissy and Brian while they had a break away from the Fire Dept, Hospital and 3 kids!!! The couple has just shared their 5 yr wedding anniversary and wanted to treat themselves to a couple's portrait session. Needless to say.....the sun was competing for what was hotter: the heat or their romance??? There were soo many images that I couldn't bear to leave out, so this blog contains a bit more images than I would of liked, but who's counting, right??

Thank you for a wonderful portrait session!!

Congratulations to you both and wishing you many more years of happiness :+)

Summer Days with the Mize Family

I've had the pleasure of photographing the Craig/Mize Family at the Cocoa Beach Pier this past July. Their family portrait session was a continuation from May with the other side of the family that was visiting from out of town. This was my second opportunity working with Judy and Jim whom reside in Brevard County. Jim's daughter Lisa, along with her daughter, Sierra had traveled out of state for holiday and asked me if I would have the pleasure of photographing their family. Sierra, the brown eyed beauty loves to surf and a surfer near by let us borrow his surfboard for a few snapshots; in addition to her spunky personality, she loves to pose for the camera....and might I add....she did a phenomenal job! Thank you once again to the Craig & Mize family for a wonderful family portrait session :+)

Katy & Ryan's Engagement Session

I've had the pleasure of making a trip back to my home town of St Lucie in late June to shoot Katy and Ryan's engagement pics. Katy, whom I've had the pleasure of watching grow up into a beautiful woman from childhood has hired me for her May 2011 wedding in Jensen Beach. What a day it was for all.....we starting shooting at 7 am and ended some time around 12 pm.....and the heat was brutal!!! We made pit stops along the way to take a 5 minute nap in local lounge chairs that we spotted, the 2 made sure the sun kept out with an umbrella and last but not least.....we ALL SCREAMED FOR ICE CREAM!! Air conditioner was in our sight :+) I had an amazing time with Katy and Ryan - thank you both for a fun morning!

Sneak Preview of July's 2 Day Bride/Groom Shoot

July has been a busy month.....and its not even over yet! So, what have I been doing that's been keeping me away from posting images on my blog??? I've been wanting to take on a project.....yes, I can't keep my fingers away from the shutter button!!! I've had the opportunity to partake in a 2 day bride/groom photo session in my home town of St Lucie with Lauren & Manny who have been married for a few years. I'm still editing their session which could take a long time considering it was 2 days that I spent with them. All in all, I wanted to share with you all just a few pics that I was able to put together in a rush. I can't wait to finish!!

Rain, Rain, Go Away.....

Hi everyone! With the tropical storm barely making landfall to the Space Coast shores, I hope to not have to reschedule my evening shoot with Chrissy and Brian due to rain. It's been a busy weekend trying to wrap up a family photoshoot I had this past Thursday in Cocoa Beach. Stay tuned....

Busy, Busy, Busy......

Hello everyone! I know its been a while since I've posted any blogs. I've had my hands full with my 2 yr old running around which consumes my time since I'm a stay at home mother. I been asked to shoot for Space Coast Living Magazine in Brevard County which has kept me on my toes :+) I'm glad to say that I'm not behind on work but just behind on posting blogs.

Within the past 2 months, I've shot a wedding, assisted a wedding, engagement shoot and even a 2 day bride/groom session. Within the next month, I have been booked for a family, couple, 2 maternity and 1 newborn shoot. Lots of props and goodies are in store :+)

Life is keeping me busy especially with a busy month of October - one of my favorites months because its WEDDING SEASON!!!

If you have the opportunity too, become a fan of Candice Toro Photography on Facebook, I try to stay up to date with my current photography sessions.

Thank you all for being patient!!!

A gift for her man.....

May 18, 2010 @ 6:00 AM I was awake and on the road to Melbourne Beach for a 2 series photoshoot with a very dear friend of mine. She wanted to present a gift to her boyfriend that would be traveling afar....what better gift to send your man :+) Yes, the water was cold as both of us survived! After about an hour of shooting, it was time for a pit stop to the local Star Bucks to give us a boost for part 2 of the shoot. A rental room at nearby B&B was used as a backdrop with lovely furniture. About 2 weeks later, her boyfriend receieved his departing gift and she definately left an impression that would last until they meet again. Thank you J!!

Cocoa Beach Family Fun

I was joined by three generations as we shared a beautiful evening at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach, Florida on May 15th, 2010. The grandchildren and parents traveled from Texas to visit their parents who reside in Brevard County. The two little beauties, Avery and Grant have the sweetest eyes any parent couldn't resist smiling at; so much fun those two were!! And there is Grandpa Jim....him and I shared so many laughs and jokes that by the end of the session, my mouth hurt from smiling so much. Thank you all for a wonderful evening full of laughs and smiles! I look foward to seeing you all again soon :+)
