Candice and Mark's Pink Vintage Wedding

Candice and Mark were hitched in early November at The Atlantic Resort and Spa located in Ft. Lauderdale Beach. The bride to be ---what a classic beauty with her Allure lace vintage dress and also the groom to be --handsome in his tailored gray suit. What an emotional day it was, especially when Candice's Father locked eyes on his daughter as she stood anxiously awaiting his arrival into the room, yes, it was tears for all!! Their ceremony overlooked the Atlantic Ocean as the alter was decorated with an arrangement of candles, so romantic it was! As Candice walked down the aisle to Michael Jackson's "Human Nature", Mark stood there with his jaw dropped in absolutely awe. As the sun set to the East, I captured an amazing sunset with both Candice and Mark along with their wedding party. The reception was even better, the DJ played nothing but classic 80/90's jams - it was great seeing everyone dancing to the music. Truly a beautiful wedding --- I'm so blessed to have been able to capture their memories! Congratulations to Candice and Mark - I wish all the happiness in the world!!!!

Baby Ayden

Welcome to the world Baby Ayden!!!!! Of course, I'm at a loss for words at how much I adore this sweet little bundle of joy :+) Ayden's parents are very dear friends of mine and I couldn't wait to meet their new love when they asked me to photograph his newborn pics. Ayden's Father is a LT. Firemedic and what better way to introduce him into the world of firefighting! Of course, there is Ayden's Mother...she has the patience like no other as she soothes her 1st born in her arms into a deep sleep for most of the images. I loved every minute of Ayden's newborn session ; brought back so many memories of when my first newborn came into the world. Congrats on your newest love and  thank you for the wonderful opportunity to capture Ayden's first month of life!

Peter and Laura's Glimmer Wedding

Little did Peter and Laura know that years later, their high school relationship would be the beginning of lifelong commitment. The couple were wed at the Holy Name of Jesus - such a beautiful church with vaulted ceilings and stained glass windows.  And what would a wedding be without an awesome wedding party that was well over 17 people -- the most I've ever shot before, whew....!

The wedding reception was held at the Hilton Melbourne Rialto Place and was beautifully decorated by Sophisticated Gents and Petals Design Center.  Both Peter and Laura had the opportunity to see the reception room before their guests entered.....those first reactions are priceless! No detail was forgotten which is included The dance floor was monogrammed with their initials, Tiffany blue uplighting with silver and white accents, candy/dessert buffet, Tiffany blue signature drinks and even a monogrammed ice luge!   I big thank you to my 2nd shooter, Matt --thank you for all of your hard work!

Thank you Peter and Laura for an amazing wedding - I'm blessed to have been apart of your wedding day!  I wish you both a lifetime of happiness -- xxoo

The "L" Family Fall Portraits

One thing I love most about the Fall season is the colors and the change of weather! The "L" Family scheduled there 2nd annual family portraits at Ryckman Park in Melbourne Beach. It's been almost a year since I've since Ava and wow, what an independent personality she has!!! She definitely runs the show at home and has Daddy wrapped around her itty bitty finger :+) Chase, such a handsome young man he is developing into who is all about sports with a million dollar smile! Of course, the parents...what can I say?? They are busy chasing Ava around, lol! Spending the evening with the family was quite a treat and required running shoes as I was chasing Ava everywhere. Thank you all for a lovely portrait session and I always look forward to next year!

A "Pretty in Pink" September Wedding

I've had the summer off with my son and enjoyed the time recouping for wedding season 2012! Labor Day weekend, Lu Anne and Monroe said " We will" at the historic Porcher House in the presence of their closest friends and family. I have to say, I almost always cry at least once during the day of weddings, but I cried twice!! The couple decided they wanted the "First Look" before the ceremony; its always emotional and tear-jerking as the Bride approaches her Groom. I watched Lu Anne walk down the stairs with so much emotion as she slowly walked to Monroe; the second he took to turn around, time stopped-literally....and the tears started to trickle. As if that wasn't emotional enough, during the Procession Monroe escorted his Bride up the stairs while their guests were clapping and cheering them on as they walked together hand in hand; this would be the 2nd time I cried, lol. The Porcher house was decorated "Pretty in Pink" surrounded by uplighting, pink flowers, candy bar buffet and a beautifully decorated wedding cake with cupcakes that tasted soo yummy! A special thank you to Michelle for assisting me in photographing their wedding.  Lu Anne and Monroe, thank you graciously for allowing me to capture your special day; I had a wonderful time meeting your friends and family :+)

Summer Nautical Fun

Just one day before Tropical Storm Issac made its appearance in South Florida, Danielle and James along with their family scheduled their annual portrait session; luckily, there was nothing but blue skies and tons of laughs!! I enjoy visiting my 1st home, it gives me a wonderful excuse to visit family, friends and of course work :+) I've known Danielle since childhood and had the great opportunity of meeting her husband and his adorable-yet silly kids. The family brought their dog, Chloe as I call "Sailor Moon"; she wore the cutest nautical doggie dress with an anchor on it! I loved all the details and props that were used for their nautical themed photo shoot - thanks Danielle for all of your creativity. I had a wonderful time spending the evening with your family-thank you for the opportunity and I always look forward to next year!

Liz's Senior Session

It's Senior Season for the soon to be Viera High Graduate!!! Elizabeth, truly a beautiful young woman with such captivating eyes! "Liz", quite the busy teenager, was able to make some time for me to take her Senior portraits out of her busy schedule in Cocoa Village. One of Liz's many talents is that she performs as a Hip Hop dancer and her team was awarded National Champs.  We were talking about "high school and boy stuff"....wow, did I feel old????  Congrats Liz on your upcoming achievements - I wish you the very best in your future! Thanks again for the past time memories and a great portrait session!!!!!

The Craig Family Session

The Craig family has returned for their 3rd annual family portrait session; its always a pleasure visiting with them especially watching Sierra grow up! I think Sierra has grown at least 12 inches since I've last seen her and what a spunky personality she has :+)  Of course, spending time with lovable Judi and Jim-couldn't have asked for better company. Last but not least...Lisa, looks amazing and had a sparkle in her eye-she had wonderful news to share and I'm so happy for her! I will miss you all and look forward to next summer!

Summer time fun

One of the reasons why I love my job is that I have the opportunity to watch little people grow :+)  This is the 3rd family shoot I've had with the Ellis Family in the past few years. I've had the pleasure of watching Alana grow from a toddler into a beautiful little lady and Landon from just a few weeks old into a stud muffin! I watched and ran (lol) after the little ones as they explored Rykman Park in Melbourne Beach. Thank you to the Ellis Family for the memorable moments, as I always look forward to seeing the munchkins grow up!

Erin and Jeff's Rustic E-Session

Erin and Jeff had chosen Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales for their engagement session for many sentimental reasons - I can clearly see why after experiencing what the Gardens has to offer!  Afterwards we headed to a park that yet provided a beautiful backdrop with spanish moss hanging everywhere from oak trees; their session was simply romantic! Erin and Jeff are planning a late December wedding at River Ranch - I can't wait to see what Erin has envisioned for their special day.  Thank you both for a fun and beautiful e-session!!!

Chris & Tracy's April Wedding

Chris and Tracy were married at the Vero Christian Church in late April followed by their reception at the Elk's Lodge.  The bride had chosen the Costa d'Este hotel overlooking the beach for her getting ready shots-what a beautiful hotel!!  Chris and Tracy's personalities complement each other; her super spunky personality has Chris on his toes--such a sweet a loving couple they are.  To top off the evening, I was surrounded by their loving family, friends and of course....lets not forget the wedding party, quite the group :+) Chris and Tracy, I wish you an eternity of happiness as you start your marriage together. Thank you both for sharing your wedding day with me!!!!!
